Poster Making Competition was conducted for the students of Coronation Girls Higher Secondary School, Sivakasi on the topic “Plastic Pollution Awareness” on 20.01.2026 (Tuesday).47 VI & VII standard students participated and 24 SSL Volunteers were involved in the activity.
Guest Lecture on Plastic Pollution Awareness was arranged for our SSL volunteers on the topic “Think Before You Throw: The Plastic Reality” on 23.12.2025 (Tuesday). Dr. S. Subha Ranjani M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Head & Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, served as the resource person and presented an enlightening lecture on plastic pollution A total of 26 SSL volunteers participated and benefited.

Literacy Day Celebration – 30.01.2017
Mrs.V.Vimalavathy, our alumnae trained 51 students of Municipal AVT. High School, Sivakasi to make a pair of bangles and studs using
Ms. R. Navathara, Craft Teacher, Thiruthangal along with 9 SSL Volunteers trained 50 Coronation Higher Secondary School Students to make a pair of bangles and studs using silk threads.
To improve the interpersonal relationship, many motivational games were conducted among the School Students of Coronation Hr. Sec.School, Sivakasi by our SSL Volunteers. Prizes were given to the winners.
Joined the students of Municipal AVT. High School, Sivakasi in their Independence Day celebration and provided lunch to them.
