Photography club

Objective:

• The Photography Club helps students become more creative and innovative. It encourages artistic expression and critical thinking. The club also builds self-confidence and entrepreneurial skills. To achieve this, the club organizes workshops, technical sessions, and field visits. These activities give students hands-on experience, practical knowledge, and exposure to different aspects of photography. This helps students explore their passion, develop skills, and consider a career in photography

Photography Club 2025-2026:

A workshop on “Design Without Limits:  Exploring Canva” on 28.01.2026 (Wednesday) will be conducted.  Mrs. S. Nusrath Najeeba, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, The Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College for Women, Sivakasi, acted as a resource person. A total of 27 students from the photography club participated.

Photography Club and the Information Publicity cell jointly organized a one-day workshop titled “From Vision to Reel: Storytelling in Seconds” on 22.09.2025(Monday), 
Mr. T. John Christober, Assistant Professor, Department of Visual Communications, Ayya  Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi acted as a resource person.  A total of 56 photography club students & 31 Part V volunteers actively participated and benefited from the workshop, gaining valuable insights into digital storytelling, video production, and ethical content creation.

Organized a workshop on “Manual Camera Settings and Exposure Control” on 18.09.2025(Tuesday), Mr. D.N. Suresh, Associate Professor of Physics (Retired), V.H.N.S.N. College, Virudhunagar, acted as a resource person. A total of 52 students from the photography club attended the program and benefited from it.

Photography Club 2024-2025:

Photo-Taking Competition on 05.02.2025 on 'Beauty of Nature '. 10 Photography Club students participated.

Studio Lab Visit - Clicker’s Studio Lab, Sivakasi, on 22.01.2025. 22 Photography Club students visited.

Guest Lecture on 08.10.2024 on the topic, 'Camera Tools and Techniques '. Mr. D.N. Suresh, Associate Professor of Physics (retired), Alumnae Secretary, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar, acts as Resource Person. 51 Photography Club students participated.
