Department Establishment:
The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 1993, offering Bachelor of Computer Applications and AICTE approved Master of Computer Applications Programmes affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. It is a well-established and a pioneering department in the institution both in terms of Academics and Student strength with dedicated faculty members. The department regularly updates its curriculum in accordance with UGC guidelines as well as latest advancements in the relevant fields.

A two days International Conference on AI and Cloud – ICAIC’25 (20th and 21st February, 2025) was organized by the Department of Computer Applications. Mr. Naveen Anada Kumar Joseph Annaiah, Dr. P. Ranjit Jeba Thangaiah, Dr. J. Gowri, Dr. S. Vairachilai, Dr. S. Pandikumar were the guest speakers of the conference.
