Social objectives 
      
	Business cannot survive and grow unless it meets the needs of the society. Business activity has to be rooted deep in the society. Some of the important objectives of business are as under:
a)  Supply of the desired quality of goods:
               A business enterprise can hope to  have good image only if it products and supplies goods and services of standard  quality.
               b)  Avoidance of profiteering and anti-social practices:
               Even though the aim of business to  earn profit to avoid loss, it is necessary that it should not over-charge the  customers and profiteer at their costs. Again, it should not indulge in  malpractices as hoarding, black-marketing etc.
               c)  Providing employment:
               One of the social objectives of  business is to create opportunities for employment for the people in the  society.
