Organic objective:
A business enterprise consists of people organized to conduct the business activity to meet and satisfy the needs of the people of society.
It is an organic entity which has its own infancy, childhood, adulthood and maturity. The first concern of a business is to ensure its own survival.
Once the survival is assured, it will aim at growth and expansion. To achieve this, it will try to gain prestige and recognition from the society in which it functions.
- Survival:
First of all, the business enterprise must try to ensure its survival for continuous existence. Unless it survives, no other objectives can be accomplished.
- Growth:
After ensuring its survival, the business concern should aim at growth. It may identify new customers, introduce new products or increase its market share. Growth brings higher profit, economic power etc.
- Prestige and Recognition:
The business concern with good image can easily attract new customers, dealers and employees. These prestige and recognition help to ensure its survival and growth.
